How the 3G 4G signal booster works:

  • The antenna on your roof receives the 3G and 4G mobile signal.(1800Mhz + 2100Mhz)
  • This signal is sent via coaxial cable to your 3G 4G signal booster  in your house.
  • The StellaHome 3G 4G signal booster then amplifies this signal.
  • The internal antenna then sends this amplified signal around your house.
  • Your mobile devices can then communicate with this signal.

NB Check that your operator uses 1800Mhz for 4G.

This booster kit includes

  1. 1 StellaHome1800+2100 booster

  2. Install the outdoor panel antenna in a location where there is good mobile signal. (usually this is your roof).
  3. Using the supplied 12m cable, run it down inside your house to the Stellahome repeater.

The frequencies explained:

1800Mhz is a mid range frequency. Most operators transmit GSM and EDGE data at 1800Mhz in cities. EDGE data is low bandwidth and is only suitable for emails. Many mobile operators use 1800Mhz for 4G also.

2100Mhz is used by all mobile operators for the 3G network. This is available in all cities and offers very fast data speeds. It is also available in many parts of the countryside but you should always check outside your property to see if you can receive this frequency on your phone. Generally, if you can browse the internet on your phone outside your property, it is likely you are on 2100Mhz, 3G.
