Parabolic Grid Antenna
SD19,
SD21, SD24, SD27 Assembly Drawing
At 135MPH, SD27 has a windage of 591 Newtons. This
is equivalent in American usage to 133LBS., far lower
than any competition. Note also that SD19 has been rotated
in a wind tunnel at 191MPH without failure.
Please make enquiries about antenna requirements in
the 1.5 - 6.0 GHz range.
BENEFITS
Parabolic Grid Antennas can be used for:
- Point to point links
- Point to multi-point links
- CCTV
- Data/telephony
- Complies to ETSI EN 301 525 V1.1.1 (2000-03)TS3
- These professional Antennas are outdoor weather
sealed and tested gas-tight.
- Lowest windage, and highest survival rate, in independent
wind tunnel tests
- Welded steel gives maximum strength/weight ratio
- N-male type connectors - please enquire.
- N-female / SMA adaptor available - please enquire
- These Antennas can be tilted (standard pole mount
brackets with optional tilt brackets)
- Material-welded wire hot dip galvanised - no rust
- Nesting, and fully stackable on the flat in the
warehouse. Most compact for shipping.
FEATURES
- Dimensions of wire-14G in mesh 12.5mm X 25mm
- Method-press formed from flat panels for uniformity
- Fully parabolic, not sectional
FASTENINGS
AND DIPOLES
- Brackets are made from hot dip galvanised steel.
- Installation is made easier as wing nuts are used
throughout.
- Dipole boxes are made from ABS shock resistant plastic.
- Each dipole is tested gas-tight.
The reflectors are fully
parabolic, not sectional. This design has the
highest strength/weight ratio. Wind tunnel tests prove
that they will stand up to high winds. For instance,
the model SD19 has been rotated slowly in a wind tunnel
with wind force 191MPH without damage or direction change.
Also, unlike sectional reflectors, warping does not
occur.
